Resources

Restor Dental believes that the key to a good, respectful, and long-lasting relationship is clarity and consistency. To ensure your next dental appointment is pleasant and as predictable, we would like to give you an overview of our office policies.

Financial, Cancellation & Acknowledgement of Considerate Care Policies

Financial Policy:

At Restor Dental, we are pleased to offer direct billing to your insurance provider as part of our commitment to making dental care more convenient for you. We can also submit claims and provide treatment estimates upon request.

However, please note that:

  • We do not check or monitor the specific details of your insurance coverage, including annual maximums, eligibility, or remaining benefits.
  • It is the patient’s responsibility to review their insurance plan and understand their coverage, guidelines, and yearly limits.

Any co-payment or portion not covered by insurance is due at the time of your appointment. To ensure a smooth experience, please bring your insurance information with you to each visit.

Our team is here to help with submitting claims and estimates, but staying informed about your insurance plan ensures you can make the best decisions for your dental care.

Payment Options:

Our fee structure is generally aligned with the Current Ontario Dental Association Fee Guide. We accept most major debit and credit cards and recommend using a rewards card to maximize your benefits, such as cashback or travel points.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Patients acknowledge that a reservation deposit will be refunded if treatment cannot be completed and adequate notice is given. Recognizing that missed appointments have a negative impact on the practice and fellow patients awaiting care, it’s understood that failing to attend an appointment, arriving more than 15 minutes late, or canceling without at least 48 hours’ notice will result in a $50 missed appointment fee. This fee will be deducted from the reservation deposit. Repeated instances of such behavior may lead to the patient’s dismissal from Restor Dental. While recognizing that unforeseen circumstances and emergencies can arise, patients are urged to contact the office promptly to address any misunderstandings.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF CONSIDERATE CARE:

Patients acknowledge Restor Dental’s dedication to delivering the highest quality care in a comfortable setting. Patients understand their entitlement to respectful, considerate, and courteous treatment. Appointments are scheduled promptly, and accommodations for emergency care are consistently available. Security cameras recording both visual and audio inputs are in use throughout Restor Dental to ensure safety and protection for all. The dental team adheres to all regulations set forth by the relevant dental authority to maintain a clean and safe environment for all dental visits. Patients are aware that they have the right to seek a second opinion at any time and request copies of their digital X-rays without incurring extra fees. Privacy and confidentiality during discussions, examinations, and treatment are guaranteed.

Thank you for entrusting us with your dental care. We look forward to serving you with excellence.
